Preston Whaley of Yoga Arts in Bradenton

Preston Whaley Jr. has been teaching yoga for 8 years. His goal in teaching is to help people find within themselves strength, flexibility and oneness of mind and body. His training is with Tias Little of Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he completed the Prajna Yoga teacher training program. He also completed the Professional Yoga Therapist Program with Joseph Le Page’s Integrative Yoga Therapy.  He has a level 2,  Thai Yoga Body Work certification, offered by Jonas Westring at the Open Center in New York City. Most recently he completed the Functional Yoga Therapy 1 course with Maria Kalima at the Kripalu Center in Massachusetts.  Preston is as an e-RYT 500 yoga instructor, the highest designation for training and experience, as offered by the Yoga Alliance. He holds a Ph.D. in the Humanities from Florida State University. Preston owns Yoga Arts, yoga studio in the Village of the Arts, Bradenton, where he lives with his wife Carrie and 3 year old son, Otis.
